Happy May! What an awesome celebration last Tuesday with our Altrusan of the Year—-Janna Janes. So well deserved and great to see so many at the program along with Janna’s special guests. It is definitely one of our favorite meetings and so special to celebrate and recognize an Altrusan that has done so much for our club & district.
This week we have the Temple Community Clinic work days- please try to make it by if you can. We will paint and have a few other task to complete at the clinic. We also have the ‘To the Moon & Back’ workshop on Wednesday night. This group is staying busy. Next week we have the May business meeting on Tuesday the 8th and then we will have the President’s Retreat on Wednesday the 9th. The goal for this will be to let the members know the plans for my year, gather ideas from the club, offer opportunities for members to join committees along with my theme and focus. It will be a time for fellowship and fun.
