Please consider being a Rockin Reader at Ralph Wilson Youth Club. Altrusa Temple has voluntered again to read two times a month (2nd and 4th Tuesday) throughout the school year. We will be reading a book selected by the RWYC in the Altrusa Library beginning at 4:15 pm. The overall process will take between 30-40 minutes. Please plan to arrive around 4 pm and you should be out no later than 4:40. The children thoroughly enjoy it.....almost as much as we do. Along with the book, there will be bookmarks that the ASTRA clubs have put together that can be given out to the children......and if you want to surprise them with a pencil, piece of candy etc., it is allowed. You may also wear a costume.

The Altrusa Temple Casual Karaoke Christmas Party is almost here. It will NOT include spouses/partners. We will have Turkey and Dressing and all the trimmings. The membership committee members will provide the homemade baked desserts. We will provide water and tea. Please bring your alcholic beverage or drink of choice. Security will be onsite. The cost is $20 per person. If you have not paid me yet you may pay me at the 5th Tuesday Social or when you come to the party. We want everyone to come and have fun so we will not have a gift exchange. However, we will have entertainment and that will be all you wonderful ladies singing karaoke. Don't worry you won't have to sing solo if you don't want to. Please register so we know how much food needs to be prepared. Thanks and hope to see many of you there. Merry Christmas Diana Zaremba |

Please join us for this Signature Project! This is an amazing opportunity to bring your family and guests - just please register them so we know how many will be helping. Our goal is to AT LEAST package 12,000 meals. WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you would like to read a bit more about Kids Against Hunger please see the link below. We encourage all members to wear comfortable clothing to include your Altrusa Shirts and tennis shoes as we will be standing in the food prep lines on concrete floors. You will be given an apron and hair net upon arrival. We will not be having a pot luck but encourage members to meet up afterward for lunch at a local restaurant of their choice. |

AMAZING TEAM, Our"Comfort & Joy" show-stopper event raised the ceiling in every way! Thanks to each one of you, we were able to reignite the excitement for this in-person event and raise more funds for projects and scholoraships than we have ever raised before! It is time for a recap and recommend sesson. Please take a moment to collect your thoughts and binders to be shared. It was so exciting to see how many new members jumped right in and offered new ideas! If you noticed anyone that you might think would enjoy participating as a co-chair or committee member for TOH 2023, please share that in your notes as well. Our fearless leader, Taryn, is graciously opening her home for this wrap up meeting and we will be providing a pasta dinner. Hope to see you all there! Julie & Taryn
