We are hoping that other ASTRA clubs will be able to make some as well. District Nine is working on compiling Accents from all clubs. If anyone has an Accent on their computer please submit the Accent to Dana Riegel or Debbie Mabry, that would be amazing!
While we certainly want to grow membership, keeping the members we have is extremely important. If there is an Altrusan that has not made a meeting or project recently, please give them a call and check on them! If you are a sponsor to an ALTRUSAN who recently joined (within the past 18 months), please remember to be checking in and inviting them to participate in activities.
Scholarship: Regina Phinney - Chair / Sarah Davison - Co-Chair Thanks to the WONDERFUL success of our TOH raffle ticket sales, Altrusa International of Temple, TX. will again be awarding scholarships in 2022! We encourage all Altrusans to help spread the word for students to apply. Scholarship applications can be completed on-line on our Altrusa website (altrusatemple.org) or applications can also be mailed to Attn: Scholarship Chair, P. O. Box 1251, Temple, TX. 76503. Eligibility: Applicant must be a resident of Bell County or a dependent of a Temple Altrusa member, must have at least a 3.0 GPA and must be planning to attend or is presently attending a college or university within the State of Texas.
