Last Tuesday at our April Business Meeting, we welcomed 7 new members. Hope to see our new members in the next few weeks at our events & projects. 

This Tuesday we will have our 'Taste of the Holidays' Kick Off Event-- Give Thanks --and it will be a potato dinner. Please try to join us if you can. It is a great time to learn the history of this event and get plugged into a committee for our annual fundraiser. Work has already begun, and we will work thru the summer & fall on this event, it is a great way to meet others in our club.

Also we have our Belton Sr Center Bingo project this week---we will make lunch on Wednesday, and then serve lunch & play bingo on Thursday. This is a fun project, and always a joy to spend time with some Seniors in our community. They LOVE bingo!!!

Check your emails, and calendar----we have more projects in the next few weeks, and do not forget to sign up and give money to Regina Phinney for Installation. It will be a night to celebrate the new board and Altrusa Temple.

Here is new information on District Conference in April---we will have a great time,  so plan on attending!  More to come, but want everyone to know the time & place so you can 'save the date and make your hotel reservation.

 

One more thing.....The Hotel Block for Conference in April 2019 is open.

  

Below is the link to the hotel to reserve your rooms.  Hotel is Courtyard and Towne Place Suites by Marriott in Grapevine.  Dates are April 26-28, 2019.  Room rates are $119.00.  If you are needing to reserve a handicap room, please do so with the hotel and then let myself and/or Mary Pearson know and we will make sure that the hotel puts a "hard" reserve on your room.  Please share this information with your club members now so they can start to make their reservations.  

 

I am so deeply honored to chair this year's AOY program on April 23rd to honor one of our very rewarding members for his or her dedication to being a Leader in Service.  Please help me celebrate this member by submitting your Nomination Form as well as your current Altrusa Profile by March 29th.  Both forms are pdf fillable and you can click "submit" at the bottom of the form to email to me directly.
