Altrusan of the Year

2019-2020 Altrusan of the Year Program Meeting - September 22nd

What a special day!  We will be honoring a deserving Altrusan as Altrusan of the Year for 2019-2020.  We have plenty of space at the CAC for social distancing.  Since this is a special occasion, we will be offering a meal option.  A boxed lunch will be prepared by Classic Catering and the cost is $13.  You may submit your selection by email and submit payment by credit card through the event invitation link. You may also pay by check at the door if you wish.  Simply send lunch selection to before Friday, September 18th at noon.

Each box lunch comes with chips (except for power salad), fruit, and brownie.  Please bring your own drink of choice or bottled water will be provided.

1.  Chicken salad on croissant

2.  Roast beef & Havarti on sour dough roll

3.  Mediterranean power salad with grilled chicken (lemon marinade), hummus, quinoa, feta cheese, kalamata olives, tomato, cucumber, & greek dressing.  Dressing, cheese, & olives are served on the side.

It's time to Love Our Neighbors!

Members are working hard to get our fundraising efforts up and running by October 1st.  We will have our Square site as a landing page for all of our efforts ready to accept credit card payments and then publicity will begin.  The Underwriting Committee has re-written our sponsorship letter and it will be signed & stuffed on September 17th.  Our club is in great hands as we forge a new path this year together.  I know our efforts will come back fruitful.
New Project

Temple Wildcat Mentors (Pen Pals) Needed

I'm excited that this is a project all of our members can be a part of right from home.  We are in need of members who can commit to writing to a TISD student once a week during the school year.  You will need to fill out a Temple ISD Wildcat Mentor Application
Please let Michelle DiGaetano or Donna Wright know if you are interested.

"All of us, at some time or other, need help.  Whether we're giving or receiving help, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world.  That's one of the things that connects us as neighbors - in our own way, each one of us is a giver and a receiver".  Fred Rogers
