Hope everyone is having a great weekend. This Tuesday is our April Business Meeting and we have 8 new members to initiate. I hope everyone can join us and welcome them to the BEST Altrusa Club in the world.

We will also vote for our delegates to the International Convention that will be held in Reno this summer.

At the meeting, we will have the Ad Hoc Committee present their recommendations for the Scholarship Guidelines & Fiscal Policy. The recommendations are below under the Download Files section for you to review before the meeting. 

REMINDER: Installation is May 14th starting at 6 with social & 6:30 dinner (it will be at Oscar's Store), so please RSVP and pay Regina Phinney. We will celebrate the year of SEASONs and get ready for our new Altrusa year!

Here are a few pictures of the elves that handed out the books at Raye-Allen. It was a wonderful afternoon to give these students and teachers books that they could take home. We definitely had many smiles with this project. Thanks to everyone as Altrusa Temple gives out more books this year. Can you believe we have donated over 700 books this year with our literacy projects and we still have more to give.

Here is new information on District Conference in April---we will have a great time,  so plan on attending!  More to come, but want everyone to know the time & place so you can 'save the date and make your hotel reservation.

 

One more thing.....The Hotel Block for Conference in April 2019 is open.

  

Below is the link to the hotel to reserve your rooms.  Hotel is Courtyard and Towne Place Suites by Marriott in Grapevine.  Dates are April 26-28, 2019.  Room rates are $119.00.  If you are needing to reserve a handicap room, please do so with the hotel and then let myself and/or Mary Pearson know and we will make sure that the hotel puts a "hard" reserve on your room.  Please share this information with your club members now so they can start to make their reservations.
