On July 31, 2018, Altrusans and their families assembled 1400+ hygiene kits for the Helping Hands Ministry Project Appletree. Project Appletree celebrated its twentieth year and Altrusans have been a part for ten+ years. The hygiene kits include 1 bar of soap, 1 bottle of shampoo, 1 washcloth, comb, and magnet with Belton Library information. Products are purchased by Altrusa Temple, storage bags are donated by a private donor, and labels are donated by Perry's Office Supplies.
