We are back with another session of our Clubrunner Training.

If you missed the first one, we will review basic functions. We will also dive deeper into all of your questions and help you with hands-on assistance.

Please bring your laptops and open, happy minds!  We will move at the pace of the group and will have plenty of helpers to guide each member through this very valuable tool.

For those who are interested, we will head over to Clem Mikeskas on 57th for dinner after the session (dutch treat).

Please join us before the meeting to help our Days for Girls team bundle over 1,000 items in preparation for kit assembly.  Kit assembly date will be set for sometime in late March or early April.

The Dragoo Goes Pop! workday is here!!

We need many hands to help get this project ready to go to the schools. Come for as much of the time as possible.

You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy and share.

We will organize/package the following by grade (K and 1^st) for each campus:

• Toilet paper rolls
• Microwave popcorn
• Red, yellow and orange tissue paper
• Green paper
• Large green pom poms
• Small green pom poms
• Self-stick googly eyes
• Tacky glue
• Enrichment activity sheets
• Staff t-shirts
• Posters

Please register so we have an idea of how many volunteers we will have.

The Dragoo Crew is looking for Altrusans that would like to help on the Dragoo Goes Pop! presentation days. The primary volunteer responsibility will be to help direct students’ attention to the program…basically, crowd control.

·       If you purchased a Dragoo t-shirt, they will be ready no later than mid-February and you are asked to wear it on the presentation days for which you sign up, please.

·       All Altrusa volunteers must complete a security clearance with TISD. Use the following link to complete the background check as soon as possible. Be sure to have a photo of your driver's license ready to upload. It takes 7-10 days for TISD to process your application.

·       There is a need for one-two volunteers (“tech volunteer”) for each campus that will be help be responsible for running the PowerPoint for the storyteller. The tech volunteer will be responsible for arranging a campus visit with the campus librarian during the week prior to the presentation to become familiar with the projection and amplification arrangements on that campus.

·       Note that there is a back-to-back (same campus) opportunity on March 7^th. If you sign up for one of those dates, it would be helpful for you to sign up for both presentations on that campus on that date. Also note that there is an afternoon presentation at a different campus on March 7th also.

The Altrusans will be putting various spice items into bags for Helping Hands Ministry of Belton.  These bags will be placed in their food store for anyone who needs them.  If your schedule permits, would love to have you participate.
