The Romance Book Club cordially invites you to our social to discuss our book "The Wife Who Risked Everything" by Ellie Midwood. Food and drinks will be provided by the Romance group. Even if you have not read the book, please join us anyway! 

Calling all Members!

Please plan to join us for our KICK-OFF meeting for our 2023 Love & Light Taste of the Holidays!  We will be meeting at Precious Memories in DOWNTOWN Temple. 

This is where you will learn all things TOH and be able to sign-up to work on committees.  This is our ONLY fundraiser for our club and provides the funds for all projects and scholarships for the 2024-2025 Club Year.  This event definitely takes a village to have guaranteed success.

Please bring an appetizer to share and/or your favorite beverage.  Carol McDuffie will be sending out a sign-up sheet for food itemes - Thank you Carol!

Please join us for our annual President's Retreat. Come learn about this year's theme and goals, and help us brainstorm ideas for projects. Everyone is invited! 

Please plan to come and help to SignFold/Stuff/Stamp and Seal Letters that will be mailed to the community to sponsor our Taste of the Holidays.

Thursday, June 22nd at 5:30.  Place is to be determined shortly, but please put on your calendar if you can come and help us out!

Need Altrusans to help register Dreamcatcher Campers for a week at camp. Camp Staff and counselors will be AT camp overnight Saturday and will arrive Sunday around 8am. There will be a group Altrusan photo at 8:15am.  Staff and campers leave on buses at 11:15am. Please join us for a most heart-filled morning as we send these campers off to camp for the first time in 4 years!

Tasks to include:

• Set-up of rooms, tables/chairs
• Assemble items for a giveaway bag
• Organize paperwork and check-in
• Assist in Medical Room
• Various other greeter and mobiliation tasks to keep the process flowing
• Pack-up all materials from registration rooms and luggage area after campers and staff leave on buses  (remove to designated location)
