Details for Recycling:
1) Attached you'll find a list of all acceptable plastic items. Think grocery bags, cleaned ziploc bags, bubble wrap, plastic wrap, etc. All materials must be clean, dry and free of food residue.
2) Weigh what you have collected and turn in lbs. to Angela.S.Cases@gmail.com 1 time a month through June. I will keep track of our totals and turn them in as required for credit.
3) Once recorded, take your grocery bags to recycle at HEB/WalMart, and/or take all plastic items to recycle collection sites at partner retailers Home Depot, Kohl's or Brookshire Brothers in Salado.
Our goal is to recycle 500 lbs. of plastic in 6 months. Once achieved, we will be eligible to acquire a Trex Yacht Club 48" bench to be placed at the entrance of our adopted trail Pepper Creek Trail. Questions may be directed to Project Chair Angela Cases. Happy Recycling!! |
