For those of you who were unable to make it out this past Saturday for Make A Difference Day, we took some photos so you can see what your hard work and donations accomplished.

Altrusans also had a delightful (and somewhat frustrating for non-artists) time Painting With a Twist:
Our President-Elect, Theresa Reese, and her team packaged 1400 hygiene kits, which will be distributed to area students to have when they get ready to return to school. The kits have a full-size bottle of VO5 shampoo, a washcloth, a bar of soap, and literature about the Lena Armstrong Public Library in Belton and the Temple Public Library. Just the fact that knowing somebody actually cares about them can make a big difference in the self-confidence in these students as they begin their school year. THANK YOU to all who participated! Caring is truly what we do best!
