Altrusa Newsletter, Issue No. 28, December 9, 2016

           Our Board meeting this month was very productive and many accomplishments were made. We will be bringing you four projects to consider. If these projects are approved, we will have a little over $3,800 remaining in our project budget. So, we still have room for additional projects. If there is something you are passionate about please submit your project to Hope LaGrone.

          Our Altrusa Christmas Party is Monday, December 12th at the Cellar in downtown Temple next door to Pignetti's. We are sure to have a great meal and a delightful time socializing with fellow Altrusans. We work hard and there is no reason why we cannot play hard. If you have registered to attend, don't forget to bring a Wrapped Christmas ornament; one per person or one per couple. We will not have a Program Meeting in December as our Christmas Party takes the place of the Program Meeting.

          Thank you to all Altrusans who are reading to children at Ralph Wilson Youth Club. Janna has assisted me in attaching a link so you can see open times and sign up if you have a few minutes in the afternoon to share with these children. If you see open times you can fill, please email Beverly.

          If you have service hours or community hours to go toward our goal of 100 hours for each Temple Altrusan, please email those hours to Chip by simply clicking on his name and emailing the hours. How easy is that...no muss no fuss...no form to fill out!
